RACE DAY INFO
If you register before May 15, 2018, you will receive an e-mail no later than Thursday, May 17, 2018 with last minute instructions and your RACE/WALK NUMBER. Please print out this e-mail and bring it with you to make it easier to pick-up your T-SHIRT & BIB NUMBER. If for some reason you do not receive the e-mail we can look-up your number at the pick-up.
T-SHIRT & BIB NUMBER PICK-UP at Fitness Expo:

WHERE: Depot Square – 16 North Elm St. – Westfield
RACE DAY T-SHIRT & BIB NUMBER PICK-UP:
WHEN: Saturday May 19, 2018. 9:00AM to Noon
WHERE: Tent near Starting Line
RACE DAY: STARTING LINE LOCATION
WHERE: across from Juniper Park School at the SOUTH PARKING LOT of the University Campus
WHEN: Line up begins @ 12:30pm. GUN goes off at 1 pm sharp
NOTES: (BIB NUMBERS are color coded. Runners and walkers will enter corral that matches color coded signs…….volunteers will be there to help!)
WALKERS with STROLLERS must line up behind runners and walkers.
NO STROLLERS will be allowed in RUNNERS CORRAL
PARKING: Three options available
- South Parking Lot at Westfield State University (Near the Race Starting Line) To avoid Western Ave closings and traffic, take Route 20 to Bates Rd.
- Downtown Westfield Municipal Parking Lots—off Elm Street (close to Finish Line). Please do not park in Open Business private lots. For your convenience SHUTTLE BUSES will begin running at 9:30am from downtown to the Starting Line. Downtown pickups will leave from Westfield City Hall, 59 Court St and run every 20 minutes(follow shuttle bus signs near Finish Line Area). The LAST BUS leaves downtown at 11:30, do not wait until the last minute, as the late buses fill up and you may be late to or miss the start. The Post Race Shuttle runs every 20 minutes from City Hall back to the Start, last Bus is 5:00PM.
- Car Pool – Park a car downtown and car pool in a friends or family members car up to the start. After the race and party the car downtown can return the friend or family member back to the start.
Due to the time of year, there will be NO Clothes Drop.
MEDICAL and LOST PERSON AREA:
START AREA (Medical Tent near Start Line)
HIGHLAND SCHOOL (Water Stop two (2) miles into race course)
FINISH LINE AREA. (Medical tent next to finish line)
Medical services are being provided by Greater Westfield and Western Hampden County Medical Reserve Corp.

At some point past Lloyd’s Hill, some walkers will be asked to move to the sidewalk on the left side of the road.
RESULTS and AWARDS:
Race results will be posted on RunWestfield.com by Saturday night. AWARD RECIPIENTS will be notified within a week via email, NO Awards will be handed out on Race Day.
